National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, Niger State Command, has captured 55 associated medication dealers in various parts with the state among January and July.
Of those captured, 27 have just been indicted.
Leader of the Agency in the state, Mrs Sylvia Egwunwoke, who made this known in a meeting with Vanguard in Minna, said about 2,19.187kg of cannabis sativa; psychotropic substances, 1,104.267kg; pentazocine infusion, 0.042 liters, and hack syrup with codeine, 10.4 liters, were seized from the suspects during the period.
She stated: "All out strong medications seized is 3,294.454kg, while that of fluid medications is 10.442 liters.
"We can't permit medicate dealers to assume control over the state. This activity is a nonstop one as we won't yield in managing those engaged with medication selling in the state and country on the loose.
"We have connected with customary and religious pioneers to activate inhabitants to volunteer data on those in the unlawful business in their middle, to cleanse the general public of these addicts."
